showing in 2013 : "architecture and language - a dialogue"
paintings, sculptures and ceramics by german artist Harald Haeuser
Certain pairs of concepts are well-known: brains and stomach; reason and sentiment; spontaneousness and calculation. Primarily they serve to classify art and works of art and to make them intelligible; in the last analysis they are means of explaining art. But reality is more complex than the alleged clearness of the terms which are offered to us for the decoding of art. The work of art itself, in this case the paintings of Harald Haeuser, is the constant amidst the inflation of tempting terms, it is the unremovable point of reference for any contemplation.
